- Libraries
-
- The full standard C library is not supported by this app. Certain more common
- mactraps functions are supported by the traps.o and mactraps.o files
- in the traps suitcase, sufficient to try out the demo programs.
- After that, you are on your own. You can use the C-libraries from
- the source code but certain changes may be necessary for proper
- operation. However self contained functions such as the str...
- functions should be OK and the object modules are included in this app.
-
- You can manipulate library suitcases from the finder (if you have system 7)
- as if the object modules were desk accessories. The built in librarian has
- minimal functionality. You can save from suitcases into a library,
- but you can not then manipulate that library. You can only inspect it
- and use it for linking. If you don't have system 7, this program will
- crash completely. However you may be able
- to run programs generated by this app in some cases on system 6.
-
- You can open a suitcase (or any resource file) from the File/Open menu.
- To get at the object modules, double click on the highlighted 'DRVR' resource
- To use an object module with the object browser or linker,
- double click on the name of an individual resource, or shift select
- to use a contiguous range of objects.
